The Trust Law Committee was originally established to provide extensive feedback on behalf of the profession to the government on the landmark reforms to the Trusts Act. The current Committee considers a wide range of trust law issues and is comprised of highly experienced practitioners from a range of law firms as well as barristers in sole practice.
The Committee considers landmark cases, engages in law and policy reform, writes articles on topical trust law issues and assists with professional development in the trust law space. The Committee is alive to ensuring engagement on overlapping issues that affect other areas of law and members often collaborate with other Committees to assist with education and provide networking opportunities.
