As you are aware we have been experiencing increased volumes of work over the last few months. We appreciate that this has continued to have an impact on our valued providers, and we are working hard to address this.
We are pleased to advise that:
- 7 new recruits have recently joined us
- 4 additional Grants Officers have also been recruited on a fixed term basis to solely focus on the payment of invoices
- Weekend work has continued
We are aware of the frustration caused by our invoicing process, much of this is bound by our obligations under the Public Finance Act, however we are working with our finance team to see what improvements we can make to make things easier. We will keep you updated as to our progress.
