To assess the applicant’s eligibility and level of need, The Foundation Committee require information regarding the nature of the financial difficulty. This will include further detail on the applicant’s income, liabilities and assets as well as an indication of what assistance is being sought. This information is treated in the strictest confidence and is seen only by the committee and secretary.

Generally, assistance is provided in the form of an interest-free loan which is repayable through monthly instalments. In special cases, a grant may be issued.
