Committees

We support 18 committees, each comprised of specialist lawyers contributing their knowledge and experience to better the profession and advance justice.

Each committee retains a watching brief over legal developments in their respective areas and selects specific projects to undertake every year. Committee members are appointed for a two-year period, with the current committee sitting until late 2026.

Committee Recruitment is now open for 2026-2028. The Law Association Members would have recieved an email on 2 June with a link to an application form. Read the draft 2026-2028 Committee Guidelines here.
