Jenny Baldwin

Jenny leads Anthony Harper’s specialist Retirement Villages and Aged Care team, the largest such team in NZ. She has over 20 years of extensive experience in the field, with her comprehensive knowledge spanning from legal frameworks and commercial practices to market trends and key stakeholders.

Jenny specialises in providing corporate advice tailored to the retirement village sector including the registration of new villages, preparation of compliance documents, general operational advice and navigating dispute resolution. As the ageing population increases, Jenny frequently addresses issues related to the health and wellbeing of residents. She represents a diverse range of operators, from large listed groups to small not-for-profit entities, also advising statutory supervisors and from time to time residents. Her team also processes ORA settlements on behalf of operators for over 120 villages.

Jenny has regularly participated in training sessions for legal practitioners and the retirement village sector.
