Regulatory Prosecutions – Criminal Procedure

Regulatory prosecutions require a sound working knowledge of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011 and the strategic decisions it demands at every stage of a case. From first appearance through to resolution, counsel must navigate a framework that balances efficiency, fairness, and client outcomes.

This practical webinar examines the key procedural options available to defendants in regulatory prosecutions, with a focus on early decision making, charge management, resolution pathways, and trial considerations. Drawing on real world experience, the session will highlight common pitfalls and effective strategies in regulatory criminal proceedings.

Attendees will leave with a practical toolkit to confidently advise clients, make informed procedural choices, and advance the best possible outcomes in a regulatory enforcement context.
