TLANZ Annual Report and Proposed new constitution

2025 Annual General Meeting

The Law Association of New Zealand Inc. (TLANZ) Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for Thursday 6 March 2025 at 5.30pm at the offices of TLANZ, Level 18, Vero Centre, Auckland. The agenda will include the presentation of the Annual Report and a vote to amend TLANZ constitution.

For those TLANZ members who wish to attend online, a link to the meeting along with access instructions will be sent prior to the meeting.

Proposed new constitution – re-registration under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022 (ISA 2022)

All societies incorporated under the Incorporated Societies Act 1908 must reregister under the ISA 2022 and it is a requirement of re-registration that an incorporated society have a constitution which complies with that Act[1].

TLANZ must comply with this requirement. The Explanatory Memorandum provides information to members, who will be asked to vote on a proposed new constitution at the AGM on 6 March 2025.
